FSME are seeking to employ a number of EXPERIENCED ROV Pilot / Technicians in staff positions to complement our existing team.

Duties:
To be safety aware, eg awareness of legislation/guidance, reporting accidents, awareness of company safety management system and own role/responsibility
Knowledge of emergency procedures and handling emergency situations
Knowledge of the ROV team members’ roles and responsibilities.
Works as part of a team, assists others and communicates well with team members.

Capable of undertaking trade specialist tasks.

Job Qualifications:
To be effective in this role the appointed candidate(s) should possess proven skills in Mechanics, Hydraulics, Electrics and Electronics and be familiar with ROV systems, ideally with around two (2) years operational experience with Electro-hydraulic ROVs.
The successful candidates should possess a thorough understanding of underwater ROV operations and equipment.
A high degree of initiative and attention to detail is essential and a strong command of written and spoken english is vital.  This role requires flexibility and the ability and willingness to work to tight deadlines.

Allocating the correct licence depending on type of goods being imported.
The Customs Clearance Clerk can be involved in attending meetings with Customs Officials in the application of duty refunds and tariff reclassification as appropriate and will assist with any appeals that are forthcoming.
You will be required to be fully conversant with import and export laws and regulations. You will be expected to maintain your understanding and keep up-to-date with changes as they occur, so as to be able to advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters.
The Customs Clearance Clerk will post bonds for the products being imported or assist clients in obtaining bonds.  You will also be required to prepare the necessary import documentation such as certificates of origin and cargo control documents.
