Job Description:
Duties:
• Repairs damage to metal body work on vehicles and forms replacement vehicle panels.
• Removes damaged panels and parts, or removes upholstery and accessories to gain access.
• Uses panel-beating hammers to remove dents.
• Straightens damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Fills depressions with plastic filler, and files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces.
• Repairs panels by welding on new sections
Requirements:
• Must have 2-3 years' experience in servicing and repairing Japanese, American or European cars
• Must have Body Repair experience within a reputable dealership or workshop and can operate basic body and paint tools and equipment (i.e. mig welding, washer welding, frame aligner, etc.)
• Ability to speak write and read English.
• Preference will be given to those candidates who have completed 2 years or more with their current company or those holding a free zone visa.
